The numbers are in and Ditmas Park Passive House Retrofit has achieved 0.296 Air Changes Per Hour (ACH) on it’s latest blower door test! ZH is proud and excited to be one of only twenty-six firms included in the NYC’s DDC Design and Construction Excellence 2.0 Program. Designed to streamline the City’s procurement of design services while ensuring the highest levels of quality and professionalism in construction projects managed by the agency, this program gives us and the 25 other firms exclusive rights to respond to RFP’s (requests for proposals) issued by the city for projects up to $50 million.
“We are very pleased to work with some of the most talented, committed and engaged design consultants in the world as we expand the context and purview of Design and Construction Excellence 2.0,” said DDC Chief Architect Margaret Castillo, FAIA. “The program allows DDC to build relationships with select architecture and design firms that have been pre-qualified to work for the City, and ensures ample opportunities for MWBEs to be an integral part of future civic design.”
We’re really excited to have this opportunity to contribute our expertise in sustainable design to public projects and to help ensure that New York remains one of the most beautiful, sustainable, and equitable Cities in the world.
