This three bedroom apartment features an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with extensive West and North-facing window walls made of American black walnut. Stainless steel and wood shutters provide openings for ventilation. The living area ceiling has been sculpted so as to create both area lighting and a frame for an Alice Morlon hanging metal sculpture. A simple palette of materials is used, including walnut, stainless steel and mat lacquer cabinetry.
