ZH was retained to carry out a renovation and energy upgrade of this 3-story traditional timber framed house. The scope involved making a small addition to the rear of the house, renovating the interior and wrapping the existing structure with a thick layer of extra insulation to meet Passive House Standards. PHPP analysis allowed us to calibrate window sizes and calculate the necessary R-values for the building envelope.

The project is currently on site.
